About uvero.me
uvero.me is a CV creation tool and career-profile platform. You keep one career record, tailor it to individual jobs, and publish a profile you control.
The problem it solves
Most people's career history lives in a folder of near-identical documents: cv-final.docx, cv-final-v2.docx, cv-for-the-agency.docx. Each one was written from scratch under time pressure, each is slightly out of date in a different way, and the good sentence you wrote two years ago is buried in whichever file you cannot find.
That is a data problem wearing the costume of a writing problem. If your career is stored once, as structured information rather than as formatting, then producing a CV for a specific job stops being an act of retyping and becomes an act of selection.
How uvero.me approaches it
Your career record is the primary object. Roles, achievements, education, skills, projects, publications and references are entered once — or imported from a CV you already have — and everything else is derived from them.
A CV is then a view over that record: which entries appear, in what order, under which template. Changing the record updates every CV that draws on it. Changing one CV does not quietly rewrite your history.
- Import an existing CV from PDF, DOCX or plain text, and have it read into structured career data rather than pasted as a block.
- Tailor a CV to a specific job advert, with the requirements the advert actually names extracted and scored against what your CV evidences.
- Maintain content in more than one language, with translated versions living alongside the source rather than replacing it.
- Publish a career profile at your own uvero.me address — or not, which is the default.
Where AI is used, and where it is not
AI does three specific jobs here, and it is worth being precise about them because "AI CV builder" is a phrase that covers everything from a spell-checker to a machine that invents a career.
- Reading: turning an uploaded CV into structured career data, and turning a job advert into the list of requirements it names.
- Drafting: composing a tailored CV from your existing career record — choosing which of your real entries to include and writing bullet points grounded in them.
- Translating: producing a translated variant of content you wrote.
The scoring is not AI. Once an advert has been read, your match score is calculated deterministically from your CV against those requirements, and recalculates on every save without another model call. That matters because a number that changes when nothing changed is not a measurement.
AI-written content is marked with an AI badge and kept separate from your own writing until you adopt it. Nothing the model produces is treated as part of your career record on your behalf.
What is honest about the match score
A high score does not mean an employer's applicant tracking system will accept your CV, and uvero.me does not claim it does. Employers run many different systems, configured differently, and almost none of them publish how they rank.
What the score measures is narrower and more useful: how well your CV evidences the requirements this particular advert named, weighted by how that advert emphasised them. Two scores from two different adverts are not comparable, because each advert sets its own weights.
It is a drafting aid, not a verdict — and a full account of how it is calculated is published rather than kept as a black box.
Privacy, and what the defaults are
A CV is one of the more sensitive documents a person owns: it lists where you have been, who you worked for, and how to reach you. The defaults are set accordingly.
- Nothing about your account is public until you publish it. A career profile is private until you choose otherwise.
- Publishing and search-engine indexing are separate switches, both off by default. Sharing a link with a few people never quietly lists you in a search engine.
- Your email address is hidden on a published profile unless you choose to show it, and it is never placed in the machine-readable data attached to the page.
- You decide which sections, entries and fields a published profile shows.
CV content is sent to third-party AI providers to power the reading, drafting and translation features described above. The privacy notice names which providers and for which purpose; it is the authoritative document, and it is worth reading before uploading a CV.
Who it is for
Professionals who apply for jobs more than once — which is most people — and who would rather maintain a career record than maintain a folder of documents.
It is particularly useful if you apply across languages, across countries, or across role types, because those are the cases where one generic CV serves every application badly and writing each one by hand is genuinely expensive.
